Spanish-American War, U.S. military surplus oversized tin mug. The war was started on Apr 21, 1898, after the sinking of the USS Maine and ended 4 months later on Dec 10, 1898. Largly taking place in Cuba, the U.S. sent in the ARMY with forces including the 5th Army Corps and the First U.S. Volunteer Cavalry, famously known as the Rough Riders. This mug has made it a long way and is still in perfect condition.
