U.S. M15 Rifle Grenade Launcher sight w/ Carrying Case

The U.S. contracted the production of these sights to 4 companies starting in March 1944 to April 1945. This particular sight was produced by "SLCo." (Slaymaker Lock Company; Lanchester, PA.) SLCo produced the sights during the entire contract time.

COMES WITH PROPER CARRYING CASE, see picture #2 (The particular pouch is sold separately and has no proof marks) 

Used with the M1 Garand, Springfield, and M1 Carbine.

Said not to have been used much during gunfights, do to the extra time needed to take aim under fire.
