Awesome and now affordable! These Russian Izhmash "IZZY" AK47 BAKELITE magazines are great looking and full of history. The Izhmash Factory produced these magazines as a weight-saving measure for the Russian military troops. Molded in Bakelite (AG-4S thermoset phenol-formaldehyde resin, which is glass-fiber reinforced for durability) these magazines were only produced for a few years from approx. 1965 to 1968. Identified by the Triangle Arrow and mold production number. Most have very clear proof ink stamps: (OTK 48), [PB], (K), [U], [68].)
