Something Different here. We realize this item doesn't align with our normal items but, weather you are looking for a new MANCAVE CHAIR or want to take on a project with A LOT(nearly 200%) potential for profit, you may appreciate this item.Â
Considering some of the same people who love militaria and firearms can love collecting other things. Also considering, these are one of the most comfortable, Great-looking, and prized chairs out there, not to mention, RARE, antique, & collectable.
Charles Eames created the iconic design, and Herman Miller, part of Millerknoll, Incoporated manufactures it. Its rarity comes from this particular model of chair not being produced since 1970. Along with the wood it's made from being ILLEGAL to use(the tree is on the endangered species list since 1991). They started making the "White Medallion" version in 1960. The White Medallion is the sticker under the chair with the authentic Herman Miller logo. Every rendition that happened to this chair over the years had a new and different logo or sticker. This chair being the 2nd Generation means it's only the second time they switched logos/hardware/materials, which was the biggest changes. Herman Miller's name is iconic in the collectable furniture and chair world, if you can believe that. Â

Authentic & Antique. It's a must-have for any home office or Man Cave. The best part is that the value of these chairs is only going up year after year. Just as a lot of the other Firearm and Militaria most of us collect.Â
Structurally Great!

This Chair is 5 layer with is consistent with the 2nd gen Chairs and early Eames production practices. |

The Bushings that are separating the wood from the metal supports on the back of the chair, are near perfect. These tend to age poorly, but not in this case.
