CETME L/LC Flat bending jig, AkA Arms

Receiver Flat bending jig for the CETME L & LC. We bring you the same reliability, durability, and ease of use as our CETEM C/G3 bending jig. We have incorporated even more hot-rolled steel into this new, all-original design. Like our other builds, they are not used once and thrown away. They will last you many builds to come.

Quick overview

This Aka Arms in-house designed jig uses a 50/50 split of Hot-rolled steel/ASTM A-36 Mild Steel rectangle structural tubing and dependable PLA Polymer Pro. The same materials we use for all of your bending jigs. The core of the jig(Base) is designed and produced in 2 solid polymer pro pieces, pressed together with two, 1/2" steel threaded rods running through the entire length of the jig. It is contoured to fold your CETME L/LC receiver in the correct and aligned orientation.  With the form of the CETME L design being at a 90 degree angle, we made sure that the polymer holds its form by producing 100% solid bases while using a 3mm thick steel rectangle tube wrapped around 80% of the jigs length and radius. This makes sure the polymer cannot flex or compress or throw anything out of alignment on your 10th receiver bend. Finally, the entire top mandrel is made from 2.1mm thick steel rectangle stock. Giving you your inside 90 degree bends. Flush and flat.

Tensile Strength: 55-80 MPa.

Bending Strength: 68-78 MPa.

Impact Strength (Charpy): 13-17 kJ/m² (significantly higher than regular PLA).

Young's Modulus (Rigidity): 2500-2900 MPa (high). 

PLA Pro is a more robust, less brittle version of PLA, designed for functional parts that need to be strong and sturdy and a little flexible.

Warranty/ There is very little room for malfunction, but if your jig is noticable broke or cracked while in use. Your broken section will be replaced free of charge. Within reason and after communication. Up to 3 weeks or the first use.
